Our Team

Doug graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting in 1980. He is a Certified Public Accountant, as well as a Registered Investment Advisor with over 39 years of experience in public accounting. Doug either was owner or partner in several different CPA firm entities between 1994 and 2020. After spending 39 years in public accounting where his primary role was tax, Doug looks forward to using his tax planning knowledge to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. Since 1999, he has served as managing member of Madison Wealth Advisors, LLC.

Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), a credential awarded by the AICPA to CPA’S with considerable professional experience in financial planning.

Doug resides in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, with his wife Sara and daughter Madison. He enjoys family time, golf, college sports and recreational scuba diving.

Bill graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with the State of Missouri. Bill is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and an Investor Advisor Representative. He also holds a Certificate in Personal Financial Advising.

Bill spent 18 years with ATSF & BNSF Railways. He served as Vice President of Automotive Business Group, Vice President of Information Services and held various positions in the Industrial Engineering Department. In addition, for 14 years Bill was President and Owner of Precision Fabricating/Missouri Tank & Pressure Vessels, LLC which provided structural and plate metal fabrication.

Bill joined Madison Wealth Advisors, LLC in 2014 and resides in Liberty, Missouri with his wife Carol. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and sports, especially football. He also has a family farm where he assists with raising row crops and cattle.

Judy joined Madison Wealth Advisors, LLC, in February of 2008. She enjoys getting to know our clients, their specific interests and desires, and facilitates a process that leads to a long-term plan to achieve their goals. She has unique life experience that brings a valuable perspective to this process.

Judy graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences. She worked with an industry leader in cellular phone technology, where she held various positions, including opening and managing the organization’s first retail center in the Kansas City area. In the past, she has enjoyed her career as a stay at home mother of five children and volunteered countless hours at her church and school, where she served two years as chairperson for the school’s largest fundraising event and live auction.

Judy is a lifelong resident of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She enjoys spending time with her family, all water sports, helping at her church, as well as challenging herself personally through athletic pursuits.
